What actions are you taking today?

"Every journey begins with the smallest step"


One of the more valuable behaviours I have adopted in my lifetime (and no it wasn't always like this for me) is taking very small actions that are consistent with what I want to accomplish. Whether it is a long term goal or something you want to achieve by the end of the day. We let the entirety of the project or how massive an undertaking something will be talk us out of taking any action. Instead we wait for the perfect moment, or feel as though we must take massive action all at once.


While great things do happen quickly from time to time, this is more the exception than the rule. The real wins in life come from taking small steps or taking a little action each and everyday and watching as this eventually becomes something we only dreamed was possible.


The question to ask yourself is what is it you want? Are your actions or behaviour consistent with what you want? What small step have you taken today toward the finish line?
